Fun Birthday at The Fun Farm in Sta. Elena

Toddler's age: 3 years old

Summer loves animals and zoos and remembers each time she gets to feed the animals. For her birthday celebration, we thought it would be a great experience to go to a farm. We went here on Labor Day and were surprised that travel time was only a little over an hour. The farm was a few minutes from SLEX Carmona exit.

The surroundings
There were a few cars parked when we arrived. We brought the stroller but hardly used it except for the bags. The grounds were pretty much stroller friendly. There was a pavilion with tables and chairs but we preferred to stay in one of the picnic tables under a big tree. The wind was so relaxing and cool that day.

There were bathrooms all around. There were sinks for washing foodstuff and dishes. Beside the sinks were faucets for washing your feet.

The grounds were mostly soil with some grass. We came on a sunny day. Since I was wearing sandals, my feet got quite dusty. I should have worn closed shoes or washable slippers.

The whole place was surrounded by trees so there was an abundance of shade. It was not too big so you can probably go around and experience the activities in two hours. The rest of the time, you can just relax and have a picnic.

Food and drink
Drinks and ice pops were sold at the reception area. We did not bring any food for lunch but several fastfood restaurants deliver there. We ordered our lunch in Shakeys.

Activities
Horseback riding
Carabao ride

Animal feeding
Zipline
Boating
Picnic
Playground
Running around the fun farm

Tips
1. Call to make a reservation. Many schools visit here for their field trips. By making a reservation, you will know how big of a crowd to expect during your visit.
2. Wear closed shoes if you do not want your feet to get dusty on a sunny day or muddy on a rainy day.
3. It will be fun to bring your own food and eat it in one of the picnic tables. But if you do not want to bother, Jollibee and Shakeys deliver. Just be sure to bring some drinks and snacks to make sure you won't get hungry while waiting for your food delivery.
